Before & After: Lake cottage gets an Update!

This block construction lake cottage was recently renovated to update and brighten up the space while adding plenty of function and style. When the homeowners inherited the cottage, they decided to completely renovate the kitchen space. Adding upper cabinets gave the area plenty of storage while the addition of the island provides functional workspace. The bright white paint and simple door design and molding selections keep the small space from feeling crowded. Lots of careful planning and design went into transforming this modest sized kitchen area into a cheerful, welcoming and useable room the family will enjoy for years to come.
