Pilasters and Moldings add Unique Detail

Another view in this California kitchen shows the sink wall. Twisted Rope design pilasters set off the cabinetry and ornately carved crown and base moldings frame the top and bottom visual lines. The farm sink base cabinet is flanked with the pilasters on each side and an arched apron below the molding making it the focal point of the wall. The finish on the cabinetry is multi-colored with medium taupe, light cream and darker umber hues each having their own details to highlight on the wood. On the left side of the sink is a trash bin pull out and on the right side is the dishwasher, ensuring that the space remains functional as well as beautiful.
